    Images Of Bradford
Welcome to my most recent digital archive - Bradford in Focus.

Time goes by and times change, but a knowledge of history is no mere diversion; Without it, those fertile avenues of thought which have so often led to innovation and advance must be explored again, and without it the lesson of many a disastrous mistake which should have been learnt, will be suffered once more.

Bradford rightly achieved it's place in the annals of history through the achievements and philanthropy of the personalities who lived and worked there, Sir Titus Salt, Sir W. E. Forster, Ostler and Lister amongst many.

In 1801, it had just over 13,000 inhabitants. Fifty years later it was the seventh largest and fastest urban growing centre in England with a population that had increased by 50% every decade since 1800.

This collection chronicles my latest efforts to retrace those footsteps; to preserve and protect the heritage of my hometown, Bradford.
